Meet Dr. Thor
Dr. Thor graduated with a bachelor of science in exercise physiology from BYU-Idaho in the southeastern side of the state where he was enchanted with Idaho’s wide open spaces and wild sense of freedom.
He earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic at the University of Western States in Portland, OR. In conjunction with his doctorate program, Dr. Thor completed a Master’s degree in Sports Medicine and a second bachelor's degree in Human Biology.
Having worked at different types of practices, both low and high volume, Dr. Thor understands the need for thorough, personalized care in a convenient and relaxed atmosphere.
Dr. Thor arrived here in North Idaho in October of 2021 and both he and his family are relieved to return to this wonderful state and have made it home again.
Professional Background
Dr. Thor lives in Coeur D’ Alene with his wonderful wife Brittany and their son Keagan who just started kindergarten this school year. His family enjoys kayaking, fishing, going to parks, camping, or just snuggling on the couch watching a good movie.
Growing up in the Seattle area, Dr. Thor has always loved the tall pines and beautiful mountains we have here in the northwest. He started hunting and backpacking in college and still has a lot to learn but will gladly talk your ear off about anything outdoorsy.
Dr. Thor also believes in the power of exercise, especially resistance training, and how it can help so many people, especially those with a few more miles on the odometer to improve their function and quality of life. He enjoys helping people discover that they can lift weights and shrug off the notion that it is only for buff guys and athletes.
